THE SKATEBOARD INCIDENT:
there is this curb with small dead trees and in the dark you can't necessarily see them. Along comes a boy on a skateboard who is trying to show off by going up to this so said curb to do some kind of skateboard trick. He gets up to the curb and hits the dead tree and falls off his skateboard right in front of me....hahahaha the skateboard is like 10 feet away by now and he just stands up and like looks at me while i laugh at him (covering my mouth so it won't echo through campus) he says "wow i guess i could have lost an eye doing that" hahah stupid boys.

LATE TO CLASS:
i fell in the stairwell today as i was running to class...luckily i was late so the stairwell was empty, but still why is it that i can not walk without falling or running into things?

DOES ANYBODY REALLY KNOW?:
jordan catalano is my love. (and if you don't know who or where he is from then psh.) anycase tonight at institue the teacher, who i had never met before, asks the class if anyone knows emilia welsh. (some people raise their hands and some dumb guy is like "well i'd like to know her..." stupid boys) i literally start to laugh as i think about My So Called Life...does anybody REALLY know jordan catalano?! ...i wish i did. lol

so all of this funny stuff happend today. end of story.

Hot dog-flavored potato chips

I had to pause when I passed a vending machine and noticed a picture of a juicy hot dog on one of the snack packages. "How odd," I thought, as I stopped to take a look.

"Coney Island Hot Dog With Mustard Potato Chips," it shouted in bright purple, yellow, and green.

Now, I've seen my share of odd foods, but this one was just so unnatural, so jarring, and my will so weak in the face of cheesy gimmicks and packaging that I had to be the good little consumer and drop two quarters in the slot and picked up my snack. The back of the bag read like a tourist brochure:

"Welcome to Coney Island. Take a stroll and enjoy the mouth-watering taste of hot dogs with mustard flavor in this premium potato chip. It's a taste so authentic, you'll almost be able to feel the ocean breeze and hear the sounds of the boardwalk."

It reminded me of an old Trader Vic's menu, promising a quick escape, a slice of paradise on the cheap, an "authentic" sensual experience. Now, I know that consuming a few Trader Vic's Mai Tais will mentally deliver me to another world. Would Synder's hot dog flavored potato chips do the same?

Opening the bag, I was hit with the unmistakable scent of hot dogs and the chips' taste was as advertised. The flavor might best be described as the aftertaste you have about a minute after eating a hot dog. Lightly meaty and oniony, with a trace of mustard. I sat in my office, closed my eyes, and ate chip after chip. Junk food, take me away! Whistling seagulls, fresh ocean breezes, the sound of breaking surf mixing with children's laughter... none of these things popped up in my head. Alas, with salty fingers and a greasy feeling in my mouth, I opened my eyes. No escapism here, but overall, not a bad meat-flavored chip experience. Savory and satisfactory, actually, though not good enough that I will ever buy them again.

I would like to have been in the board room when somebody suggested starting a line of hot-dog flavored chips. It's really bizarre. I suspect that the idea behind offering hot dog chips as a product is based on idiots like me purchasing something out of a sheer WTF? factor. WTF marketing, it seems, is a great new marketing technique for targeting mental weaklings like me. How else can I explain the furry Domo-Kun tchotchke and the stoic Moai kleenex dispenser sitting on my bookcase?

I AM SO EXCITED FOR HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3!!!! OMG ZAC EFRON IS SO HOT I CAN NOT EVEN BREATHE WHEN I SEE HIS FACE. I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOO STOKED! hahah i said stoked.

TiMe PaSSeS

well its been awhile since i wrote on here. not that much has changed though lol. I finally decided to make some changes. I refuse to me anyone but me, and if people have a problem with it, oh well. After deciding that i decided that i need more friends and so i have been trying to be a little more active in church! i finally went to institute and it was pretty fun actually. the teacher was awsome! and i made friends! hahah i know it sounds dumb but whatever. i also decided met this girl and guy and the three of us decicded to join the biggest loser that the campus is starting!! i know im so excited!!!! its like one of my favorite shows and now i get to kinda do the same thing, excpet that i wont have jillain to kick my butt, which is a shame cuz i need it! haha anyways overall im feeling great about school, its getting hard but i love it! honestly i just love college! everything about it! well almost everything...i do miss home cooked meals and my mommy and mickel the pickel and lily but its so worth it cuz its amazing over here. well i'll have more to post after this busy week!! so keep tuned in! hahah

lets start from the beginning ~ a very good place to start! haha sorry couldn't help myself! ok no really. there is this boy, cam, and we were friends in junior high then had a falling out in highschool due to the relationships we were both in at the time. Then this summer we started talking again and we TOTALLY hit it off! it was fun, a crush!! ok then all of a sudden he stops talking to me. just like that. when i finally talked to him weeks later he said that his grandma was sick blah blah blah so i was like, "huh maybe i prejudged him to be an assface." but no. i was right all along assface will always be an assface! its just inevtiable! and this is why:

Assface: hey you! blah blah blah things going good?
ME: hey yeah things are good blah blah blah what do you want? to hangout?
Assface: yeah school is good but i have lots of homework so not tonight but tommorow we could hang out =)
ME: yeah i have stuff tonight but tommorow would be fun
Assface: yeah =)

end of convo. so tonight i hear nothing from him, no phone call or text. am i really that suprised? i guess not but he is like a frickin bipolar crush!!!!!!what am i suppose to do with that?! im just so not into hot and cold guys. AND why does he have to text with so many smiley faces?! i hate the smiley faces.

lets speak now of a BREED OF LAZY DATERS. Kellie of course coined this term and i couldn't agree more! lets take for example the whole situation with assface. he KNOWS that i will call or text him (becuase when looking back i am the one who always is actually making any plans, he just sits there waiting, ugh!) to hang out EVEN THOUGH he was the one who wanted to hang out. if i had called him then i am breeding the lazy dater. a breed that is becoming more apparent and quite dreadful. now let me explain one thing here. i am not one of those girls who just sits around and waits to be asked to dance, if im not getting asked in the first 20 seconds of the song then i'll go right out there and ask someone to dance. in other words im not the most convential when it comes to dating, BUT i can not stand another minute breeding a lazy dater. "man up already" (thanks kellie again!)

so here is the critical question: "whats a girl to do?!" i have theories of how to make this better, some better then others, but right now i just say SCREW IT! im tired of waiting around for a dumb guy! like are you joking ive been doing that since i was 16 years old!! im done with it. i think that i should focus on me and if he has a problem with that that SCREW IT! if anyone has a problem then SCREW IT! im gunna feel like a rockstar =) <----...stupid smiley faces.
